IPS Foundation

Dhwani worked with IPS Foundation to build a solution to capture field activities to encourage farmers to reduce stubble burning by educating them on the hazardous effects of stubble burning, alternative stubble management techniques, and government subsidies and schemes available. One of the key data points captured is the profile of the farmers using machines for stubble management, along with the geo-fencing of their land.

Evidence for Policy Design

In our project for Evidence for Policy Design, PayDash pulls attendance data of MNREGA beneficiaries using APIs from the MNREGA website and can be accessed by block, district and state-level government officials through a mobile app or a desktop site. This program was piloted in Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar, reducing payment timelines by up to 24 per cent in 35,696 Gram Panchayats. By 2022, we expect 15 million MGNREGA participants to benefit from Paydash.

Aga Khan Foundation

Dhwani was engaged by Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), as a tech partner to do effective monitoring and evaluation of the awareness activities on COVID-appropriate hygiene behaviour in rural India. The app was used across 6 states to measure metrics like- how many soaps were distributed, and how many handwashing stations were installed in the village common areas. As a result, the team could look at the impact through the data and dashboards.

CRISIL Foundation

CRISIL Foundation has been working on financial literacy in rural areas of India and to track the progress of participants the field team uses Dhwani’s mForm to track relevant data from the training sessions on the ground. Moreover, the field officers can also track the type of session, and upload photos. Further, all data is pushed to the CRISIL team’s web platform.

Shiv Nadar Foundation

Dhwani created a custom data collection app for Shiv Nadar Foundation’s Shiksha Elementary and Shiksha Plus programs which aims to increase the literacy rate in Uttar Pradesh. Field officers collect data including demographics and educational background. This data is collected by the mobile app, and available for monitoring through an online dashboard. The attendance tracker feature on app validates data on the ground to ensure data accuracy.

Yash Johar Foundation

Dhwani worked with Yash Johar Foundation to create a WhatsApp chatbot for their covid relief measures. The chatbot catered to marginalised employees in the film industry like cameramen, gaffers, assistants, etc. The chatbot helped the beneficiaries end-to-end covering rations, medicines, hospital beds, and information about government schemes as well.

Global Green Growth Initiative

GGGI has partnered with Dhwani RIS to monitor water quality and agriculture in Madhya Pradesh for a project called The Narmada Landscape Restoration Project. On the mForm mobile application, the field team can monitor through extensive forms This can be accessed by multiple stakeholders at GGGI through our web dashboard, so as to take relevant steps to improve the water quality and agriculture procedures and send alerts to the relevant authorities.

Kaivalya Education Foundation

Dhwani RIS in collaboration with Kaivalya Education Foundation built a tech solution for Aspirational District Collaborative(ADC) to capture data of beneficiaries across 112 districts in 19 states for the Mera Yogdan program. On the platform, the ADC team can create campaigns with details such as the goal, start and end dates, beneficiary data, and stakeholders. In addition, they will be able to see other live campaigns and collect beneficiary data like demographics, profiles, and education status. ADC then monitors and evaluates this data using the dashboard.

Reliance Foundation

The Reliance Foundation is contributing to the Skill India Mission by providing youth with the skills and placement support they need to become employable. Dhwani RIS was brought in as a technology partner to help manage the process from skilling to employment and maintaining records such as attendance, and placement history in a single portal. All this data is visualised through our dashboards which help the stakeholders in the foundation understand the status of training and employment.

Vedanta – Nandghar

Nand Ghar (a modern Anganwadi) project is to eradicate child malnutrition and improve the health of pregnant women beneficiaries, and Dhwani has partnered with Vedanta CSR to help with this mission. Field users can create child profiles and fill out data according to WHO guidelines using the solution. This data is used to categorize beneficiaries as normal, malnourished, moderate acute malnutrition (MAM), or severe acute malnutrition (SAM). The field users can also track the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women.
